CONDITIONS

 

Only films that meet the following requirements may be chosen for an invitation at the Official Selection:

1. Films must have been produced after 1 January 2021.

2. If participating in the "short film" category, films must not exceed 40 minutes in length, including credits. We accept short films from all over the world.

3. If participating in the "feature film" category, films must be at least 70 minutes long. We accept movies from all over the world.

4. If participating in the "documentary film” category, films must be at least 50 minutes long. We accept movies from all over the world.

5. If participating in the "TV series concept" category, concepts must be under 15 pages and no more than 6.000 words. Concepts must contain logline, plot synopsis, episode synopsis and character profiles. Only PDF files are accepted. We accept concepts from all over the world, written in English or Italian.

6. If participating in the “Italian TV series" category, TV series must be at least 180 minutes long. We accept TV series of at least 2 episodes from Italy.

7. If participating in the "short film screenplay" category, screenplays must be under 25 pages and no more than 10.000 words. Only PDF files are accepted. We accept screenplays from all over the world, written in English or Italian.

8. Any genre is accepted. Any work that has been shown online is also accepted.

2. The only accepted format is PDF.

3. By submitting the screenplay to this contest, the submitter is declaring they are the only owner of the rights of the submitted screenplay.

4. Any genre is accepted.

5. Screenwriters may submit no more than 5 screenplays.

Only concepts that meet the following requirements may be chosen for the special award:

1. Under 15 pages and no more than 6.000 words written in English or Italian.

2. Concepts must contain logline, plot synopsis, episode synopsis and character profiles.

3. The only accepted format is PDF.

4. By submitting the concept to this contest, the submitter is declaring they are the only owner of the rights of the submitted concept.

5. Any genre is accepted.

6. Screenwriters may be submit no more than 2 concepts.

 

 

FILM DURATION & SCREENPLAY AND CONCEPT LENGTH

1. Feature Films: films must be more than 70 minutes long.

2. Short Films: films that must not exceed 40 minutes in length, including credits.

3. Documentary Films: films must be at least 50 minutes long. 

4. TV Series: series consist of at least two episodes with a minimum total duration of 180 minutes. 

5. TV Series Concepts: concepts must be under 15 pages and no more than 6,000 words.

6. Short Film Screenplays: screenplays must be under 25 pages and no more than 10,000 words.

 

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION

Submission fee: 13 euros

Final deadline: 1 November 2024

Submission fee: 17 euros

These deadlines are subject to change at discretion of the Fabrique du Cinéma Awards Team.

 

SHIPPING & MATERIAL

For the film competition, please send a private link with the password using the digital platform FILMFREEWAY.

Note: A working copy of the film may also be submitted. When filling out the entry form, please state if your submission is the final version or a working copy. If you submit a working copy you cannot submit a final copy later. 
 

For short film screenplays and TV series, please send a PDF file using the digital platform FILMFREEWAY.
 

MOVIE SUBTITLING

The Selection Team will accept films:

• WITHOUT subtitles IF the original language is English or Italian.

• WITH English or Italian subtitles for all other original languages.

MEANS OF PAYMENT & FEES

Only credit card payment is accepted.
Your credit card will be debited by FILMFREEWAY.
Payment validates the completion of registration.​

 

 

SELECTION OF YOUR FILM OR SCREENPLAY

You will be contacted by the end of November.
Our Team will send you all the necessary information, but only if your film/screenplay/concept is selected.
